My First Knitting Project!

I never buy my kids anything they ask for. Whenever they ask for something throughout the year, I tell them to wait for Christmas. The vast majority of the time, they either decide they don’t really want the thing, or they forget about it. Unfortunately, a tiny percentage of the time, they remember, but that item from last May is no longer available. Which is why I had to knit a whale. It looks kind of like a whale, right?

I followed this pattern. This site explained to me what all the abbreviations mean.

It looks like a whale to me.

Have you looked at Ravelry.com?
It’s a souped up version of PR for knitting and crocheting.

I love handmade Christmas! That is super cute, and is probably very cuddly, too. How sweet.
