Looks amazing so far. We are supposed to get our first rain in 4 or 5 months this week.

I am sure that you will, sadly, have many more opportunities to wear this when it is finished.

Wow! A raincoat – I’m curious to hear the details of sewing something waterproof. Love your detail shot.

Interesting. I wonder if the evenness is affected by fabric type. Have you tried your home brew on denim? How has it pressed? Sorry, lots of questions since I am also intrigued by waxed fabrics. I bought a piece of waxed denim from Emmaonesock, but it isn’t particularyly ‘waxy’. It would also be cool to be able to wax a heavier weight denim.

I’m thinking the lightweight fabric that can’t absorb much wax contributed to the unevenness issues. I have not tried another fabric yet. I did not press with the iron. The wax causes the fabric to hold a crease with just finger pressing.
