Skirt blogged here, scarf blogged here. Boots and jacket are both RTW and at least 10 years old. The jacket might be closer to 20. I am old.

You are not old!
I like your photo so much. It captures a mood, and I think that´s the difficult part of taking shots.
Old you say? -many young women would love to look as old as you!
Old, seasoned, classic…thats not bad stuff. Youngsters wish they had the clothing museums we have amassed in our travels!
But that is THE trick! Hang onto your awesome creations and when you and I get to be the age of the ladies featured in the Advanced Style blog, we will have lots to choose from when we compose our outfits.
Just remember when you are feeling old, and you don’t like that feeling, just compare yourself to someone older and you will feel better. Right? Solid advice from someone older than you. ha ha.
LOVE the photograph, the clothes, the pose….
Oh, I’m totally OK with being old. I actually like my looks more now that I’m in my 40’s than I did when I was in my 20’s, even though I was obviously much more conventionally “pretty” 20 years ago.
Forties? Old? Wish I were there again but only so I could do it all over again. I am still having a great life. I notice your newly-sewn piece of fur. Lovely.
OK then, it makes me FEEL old to wear a 20-year-old garment that I purchased new.
What’s amazing, Claudine, is that you are the same size as you were 20 years ago!!! Fun pic.
