This scarf should come in handy as the weather gets colder. The silk lining fabric is left over from This skirt, and the faux fur is left over from this coat. Obviously, there was no pattern involved. I put a seam in the fur at the center back so the nap of the fur could point down on both sides. I also put an opening so I can pull one end through. It seems to hold pretty securely. For the lining, I chose a silk that’s not slippery so the scarf will stay put around my neck.

That is SOOOO cute! What a great idea.
I want one like that! What a good idea, especially the part about cutting a slit. I’ve used a loop on the back side before, but I think your slit might both hold better and allow for the ends to lie more nicely, not on top of each other like what happens with the loop idea.
