These trousers have been on my to-make list for ages. I bought the fabric close to a year ago. After my epic jacket project, I wanted a quick project. This fit the bill: less than 48 hours start to finish. The pattern is from Burdastyle 4/07. I’ve made it before, so it was all traced off and everything! I thought the fabric was linen, but it really feels mushy like rayon. Also, it changes color under the iron like rayon. Perhaps it’s a rayon/linen blend? Anyway, I like this skinny fit. It kind of maybe in a certain light makes my butt look like it’s not completely flat. Maybe. Not like I’m brave enough to post a rear view photo. You’ll just have to use your imagination.

Inspite of their pinkness these look great! Great job fitting them too – I find that pants are the hardest for a lot of people to fit just right.
LOL the pinkness is the best thing about them! Do not fear the pink. Embrace it.
Hahahaha!
I love the colour, I agree that pants are difficult to fit. Great job!
Wow, talk about hidden treasure! That waist treatment is really nice but I have absolutely NO MEMORY of these pants! Off to look up the line drawings on Burda France.
The color of your pants is one of my favorites. No, seriously! I used to keep a little notebook with scraps of sewn fabrics and I was surprised to see how often hot pink/fuschia and brown cropped up in my sewing.
I like! I just finished a pair of red skinny pants that I will be posting later today, once I take pictures. I love your pic pants!
hawt!
I love the recently finished jacket – a real work of art – as well as these brightly colored pants.
LOVE THEM!!!!!
