Better Photos

Today I took the iron, the smocked dress, a corset, the backdrop, the tripod, and some red lipstick and recruited 6 yo dd, who is home sick, to take better photos of my smocked dress. This is the result. I am making progress toward better photos. The dress is still for sale on Etsy

Still love it, love it, love it. I’m looking forward to seeing more shots of you in this dress!

I’ve procured the pattern (just before it went OOP!) and am studying all of my sewing books that so much as mention smocking, so this is excellent inspiration.

Hope your poor dd feels better soon, by the way!

This dress looks so good on you. I think you should keep it. 😉

Thanks! I am keeping that one. It is a sample for a made-to-order item. Actually, I have worn it maybe 30 times since I made it 4 years ago, so I can’t very well sell it.

I can see why you love it so much! A very stylish and chic silhouette. The shirred detail on the back is a unique and artistic touch. I couldn’t believe it is 4 yrs old, it looks in absolutely perfect condition!
