Kidswear

.
The kids and I went fabric shopping in the city on Saturday. I let them pick 2 fabrics each. I have finished 3 of the 4 resulting projects, but have only managed to photograph one of them. This dress is made from leopard print fake fur, and I love it. I lined it in china silk, and dd picked out the buttons. Initially, I was going to put a zipper up the back, but she really does prefer clothes that she can put on herself without my help, so I figured that buttons up the front would work better.

OK, first of all, how cute is that! Love the fun buttons.

But this is too weird… just yesterday I was thinking that it had been awhile since we’d seen any posts of clothing you had made your kids. Then, voila.
