White Linen Overload

My original plan was to take this white silk/linen fabric and make a dress. Then the September Burda arrived and they had a skirt/blouse combo that I thought would work better, so I ended up making a 2-piece dress. I have not tried the pieces on together yet, but they turned out very well separately.

I added some tucks near the hem to echo the pin tucks in the blouse cuffs. The skirt pattern as drafted is very, very long. Almost floor length. Mine is about 2″ shorter than the pattern, and it is ankle length on me.
