Vogue 1052 has certainly made its way into my imagination. I can’t remember the last time I made TWO items from the same pattern. Initially, I was not terribly excited about these trousers, but the more I looked at them, the more interesting they seemed to me. I used a 4-ply silk that I’ve had in my stash for a while, lined with a silk charmeuse. They feel great on. I was worried that the sash might annoy me, but I’ve worn them once and it was fine.
I added pockets to the side seams, which are completely useless. The sash covers most of the pocket opening so I can’t really access them.
In more colorful news, here I am wearing my flower dress at the Chelsea Flower Show. I blend right into the Great Wall of Fuchsia.
