Embroidered Napkins

Since I have not had access to my sewing machine, I’ve been doing some hand work. This is a project that I’ve been meaning to do for some time, but sewing is more interesting to me than embroidery, so I never got around to it until now. The napkins came from the thrift shop, and I used Anchor Pearl embroidery floss. I downloaded an outline of a dragonfly from a coloring book site. These sites are very useful for embroidery designs. Then I transferred the outline to my napkin using my window as a light box, and outlined and filled with embroidery. I like the way they turned out.
