LOL, love them! I came back from a trip to see the family in 91 once, with a white cotton baseball cap. I took out the eyelets, embroidered them as well as flowers and leaves in a style similar to yours. So I’m biased.
OOoh! I’d be so happy every time I looked at my feet wearing these! What a great project!
